Dear Bride and Groom,
The Wedding
Day is one of the most significant events in our lives. As a
Wedding Minister Officiant, my goal is to assist you to co-create a
beautiful ceremony that reflects your special love for each other and
your personal sense of the sacred. The Wedding
Day will be a
smooth and gentle experience for you, your families, and your guests. As
your personal Wedding Minister Officiant, my only goal is for you to
have the wedding of your dreams. We will work together to co-create a
beautiful and meaningful ceremony for you.
Wedding Ceremonies
are about 20-30 minutes in length. Do not shorten the ceremony to be
less than 15 minutes; it is important to your families and guests that
there be enough length and content to support the effort and the expense
they have extended to be there for you. The many sample ceremonies I
have are examples of possibilities. You may add any special elements you
like, for example, a Unity candle, Sand ceremony, Readings, parents &
guests’ blessings, Hand blessing, special Prayers, a Meditation, or a
Remembrance. Musical selections and a cue sheet are available for you. I
write an ‘Order of Service’ for each ceremony officiated which can be
used as a program. Relax, I am there for you. The Bride and Groom
have very few actual words to
speak and I will give you short phrases of 3 or 4 words at a time to
repeat after me. If you choose to write your own vows and speak them
without repeating after me, please tell me and I will create special
cards from which you may read. It really is too nerve racking to
attempt to memorize them. One last
thing. I do offer ‘Questions Couples Should Ask’, a coaching
program I created. Since many couples are so busy, it can be completed
over the Internet. My philosophy is: Marriage is built on confidence
not surprises. Ask questions! So, I hope these few words may ease some
concerns and empower and strengthen you on your special day.
Thank you for your inquiry. I look forward to listening to your special
love story and serving as your personal Wedding Minister Officiant.
Many blessings, Mac The Reverend Mac
